Skill Readiness
A platform for running skills assessments, with dashboards for programme owners and a report and growth plan for every participant.
If someone rebuilds the same report every Monday, or your numbers live in five different tools, a custom dashboard can put them in one place. We build reporting, operations and customer-facing dashboards on live data from the systems you already use.
Case studies
A platform for running skills assessments, with dashboards for programme owners and a report and growth plan for every participant.
Firmware, the touchscreen interface and the grolia.com.au platform for Flush, a benchtop cabinet that grows gourmet mushrooms.
What we build
Live numbers and charts for a team, a client or a board, with filters and drill-down to the record behind each figure.
Orders, stock, jobs or bookings in one view, so the team can see what needs doing today.
A portal where your customers log in to see their account, results, devices or reports.
Sensor readings and status from connected hardware, stored and charted over time.
Owners, managers and viewers see and change only what they should, with an audit history.
Reports people can send on, generated from the same data as the dashboard.
Approach
We start with the task the dashboard replaces: who does it now, what they look at and what decision follows. That decides what goes on the first screen.
Most of our dashboards are Next.js and React on a TypeScript back end, with MongoDB or your existing database, hosted on Google Cloud or wherever your systems already live.
Questions
Usually, yes. If a system has an API, a database we can read from or a regular export, a dashboard can use it. Tell us what you use in the enquiry and we will say what is possible.
If your data already sits in Microsoft tools and the dashboard is for internal reporting, Power BI or a similar tool is often enough. A custom dashboard makes sense when it shows live data from a device or your own app, when customers will log in to it, or when people need to act on the numbers, not just read them.
Skill Readiness has cohort dashboards for assessment programmes, and grolia.com.au has a staff admin for orders, products, shipping and manufacturing, plus a dashboard for each customer’s cabinet.
Working together
No sales calls to book. Tell us about the project and we’ll take it from there.
Tell us what you need built, what you use now and roughly when. A few sentences is enough to start.
Every enquiry is read by Steve, the founder. If it looks like a good fit, he replies by email with questions.
If the project suits us both, we talk through what to build first and how to get there.
A few sentences is enough. Steve reads every enquiry and replies by email.
