iOS and Android app development

We design and build apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and handle the whole path: design, build, in-app purchases, privacy declarations and App Store review. Pico, our own carousel editor, is free on the App Store, so you can try our work before you enquire.

An image editor for single social posts and swipeable carousels, built with React Native and released on the App Store in September 2026.

What we build

iOS & Android apps

  • Native iOS apps

Swift and SwiftUI for apps that lean on the camera, AR, motion sensors or other device features.

  • Cross-platform apps

React Native and Expo for one codebase that runs on iOS and Android.

  • Companion apps

Apps that sit alongside your web platform or connected device and share its accounts and data.

  • In-app purchases

StoreKit purchases and restores, subscriptions and the receipts that go with them.

  • Store release

Signing, screenshots, privacy labels and App Store review, through to the first public version.

  • Rebuilds

Older apps moved to current frameworks without losing their listing, reviews or paying users.

Approach

How we build it

Native or cross-platform depends on the app. Apps that lean on AR, the camera or motion sensors are usually best in native Swift and SwiftUI. Pico is mostly layout and gestures, so it is React Native and the same code runs on Android.

We test on real devices, and keep calculations and business rules in plain code with automated tests, separate from the screens.

Questions

Common questions

Should our app be native or cross-platform?

If the app depends on device features such as AR, the camera or sensors, native is usually better. If it is mostly forms, lists and content, React Native lets one codebase serve iOS and Android. We will recommend one once we know what the app does.

Can I try an app you have built?

Yes. Pico, our carousel editor, is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.

Can you publish the app for us?

Yes. We can release it under your own developer account, including the screenshots, privacy details and review notes Apple asks for.

Working together

How an enquiry works

No sales calls to book. Tell us about the project and we’ll take it from there.

  1. Send an enquiry

Tell us what you need built, what you use now and roughly when. A few sentences is enough to start.

  2. Steve reads it

Every enquiry is read by Steve, the founder. If it looks like a good fit, he replies by email with questions.

  3. Talk it through

If the project suits us both, we talk through what to build first and how to get there.

Planning an app?

A few sentences is enough. Steve reads every enquiry and replies by email.
